• Communications and Correspondence
    1. Noted were the tentative dates for the PCTOA meetings for April and May 2008
    2. There was also a brief discussion on a variance request by RP Lumber to expand their mini-storage business.
  • Town Business
    1. The Board received updated information on the 2010 census addresses and maps.
    2. A letter of engagement was presented from Willock Warning Co. P.C. for the annual audit. This was approved.
  • Road Business
    1. The Road Commissioner presented a letter from Heyl, Royster, Voelker, Allen-Attorneys explaining their increase in legal fees.
    2. The Road Commissioner then explained that the status had not changed at this time with the Carri-Scharf--Hollis Cilco Lane dispute.
    3. The Road Commissioner also brought up the possible installation of an early warning system at the town hall location.
    4. The Road Commissioner also stated that there is a shortage of funds for sealcoating roads for this year.
  • Trustees
    1. Trustee Gerdes requested information on the tour scheduled for May 3rd, 2008 of the old Caterpillar foundry.
    2. The Board approved the pre-registration fees for those interested in attending the Trustees Div. of Township Officials of Illinois seminar on Sat. June 21st 2008.
  • New Business
    1. Motions were approved for the Budget & Appropriation Ordinances for the Township and Road District of Hollis.
