  1. A report was given by those who attended the PCTOA meeting of May 28th 2008. Given at that time was a presentation on the tentative updating of the Peoria airport complex.
  2. A letter was submitted from the Illinois Dept. of Agriculture concerning traps being hung to monitor for emerald ash borers, an invasive pest.
• Town Business
  1. A brief discussion was held concerning the Prevailing Wage Act
• Road Business
  1. The Road Commissioner stated that nothing has changed with the Carri-Scharf-Cilco Lane dispute.
  2. The Board held a discussion on the purchase and donation of a surveillance camera in the Pekin Bottoms Road area. It was also requested that a letter of appreciation be sent to the Peoria County Sheriffs Dept. on their efforts to curb the illegal dumping on Pekin Bottoms Road area.
• Trustees
  1. The Board reviewed the tour of the old Caterpillar Foundry held May 3rd, 2008. Various ideas were presented for potential uses of this property.
