VISITORS ADDRESSING THE BOARD: None
TOWN BUILDING, GROUNDS & EQUIPMENT: Bill stated that the light is still out in front of the building. Russ stated that we did receive the $ 1500 refund from Ameren from the purchase of the new furnace.

TOWN BUSINESS ~ Supervisor: Vistra, who is moving into the Edwards plant, will be holding a meeting in Bartonville. Russ will notify the board on the date and time.
Russ handed out information about the Decennial Committee on Local Government Efficiency Act and stated it would be on next month’s agenda. He is recommending we have on the same night as board meetings.
Russ stated Lobby Days is April 26, 2023, in Springfield and this will be added to next month’s agenda if anyone wants to attend.
CLERK BUSINESS: Rhonda informed the board they should be receiving their Statement of Economic Interest.
ROAD BUSINESS ~ Highway Commissioner:
Denny stated they are moving equipment out of Edwards plant, and they were having issues getting the $10,000 bond sent to the Township but finally have received it.
Denny had the Township trucks help the semis leaving Edwards plant since the County never showed up. They started at 7 am and the Township employees held signs to get the trailer out onto the highway since they had to stop traffic to get onto Route 24. They asked for help again today, but after reviewing information, Denny declined to help as there could be a liability issue since they are leaving Township roads but turning onto County roads.
They were having problems with the hot-patcher and the closest company is in St. Louis. They were able to get some parts and fix it themselves. Denny feels it is working now.

Alice has signed up 3 senior citizens in the past few weeks for homestead exemptions. Many felt it was something that happens automatically, but that is not the case. They must notify Alice to get signed up.
