• Communication and Correspondence
    1. The Pekin and Lamarsh Drainage & Levee District announced that their annual meeting will be held at the Hollis Township Hall on November 25, 2008 at 4:00 PM
    2. A check has been received for the township's share of the corn crop for this year.
    3. The firm of Heyl, Royster, Voelker and Allen announced their educational seminar "Considerations & Concerns for Elections" to be held Tuesday December 2nd, 2008 at their offices in Peoria for those interested in attending.
  • Road Business
    1. Road Commissioner announced there will be a possible hearing on the Carri-Scharf dispute on Nov. 25, 2008.
    2. He also announced that the fall mowing is being finished and road shoulders will be cut down and boom mowing started.
    3. The Road Commissioner also gave a brief report on his attendence at the Educational Conference held in Springfield Illinois on Mov. 9-11 2008.
  • Trustees Business
    1. The Board discussed the replacement of road signs and the time table involved.
    2. It was also noted that grants may be available for energy projects.
    3. The Board was informed that the gutter and window projects are ongoing.
    4. Trustee Gerdes reported to the Board on his attendance at the Educational Conference held in Springfield Illinois.
  • Visitors
    1. The Board recognized Dave Bauman and Jim Warning from Willock Warning & Co. P.C. who explained their evaluation of the annual audit for the year ending March 31, 2008. They stated everything is up to standard but did suggest that a more uniform mileage reimbursement form be used.
