  1. Mr. and Mrs. Randy Westlake of Wheeler Road, Mapleton brought up concerns about property located at 6915 Wheeler Road, Mapleton. These concerns included standing water, weed growth, and possible mosquito infestation. The Supervisor stated he would follow up on these concerns.
  2. Mr. Steve Jaeger Executive Director of the Heart of Illinois Regional Port District who gave an update on the old Caterpiller Foundry Site.
• Building, Grounds, & Equipment
  1. The Board disucssed the landscaping which has been done around the Town Hall
• Town Business
  1. The Supervisor informed the Board of his contact with Mr. David Koehler-State Senator, concerning a change in the law on setting up of T.I.F. Districts in the state. This law has not been passed at this time.
• Road Business
  1. The Road Commissioner stated due to excessive rainfall the roadside mowing is slow.
  2. He also stated that the road crew continues to work with the Dura-a-Patcher machine.
  3. He informed the Board that some of the roads may be skipped this year due to excessive cost
  4. He also informed the Board that the old Clark Plant has been purchased by Carrie-Scharf
• Trustees
  1. The Board discussed the purchase of New T.O.I. Laws and Duties Handbooks.
• New Business
  1. The Board approved the payment for registration for the Supervisor Educational Workshop.
  2. The Prevailing Wage Ordinance #09-8 was also discussed.
