• Town Building, Grounds, & Equipment
  1. The Board discussed briefly the outcome of the sealcoating of the hall parking lot. This wil be further reviewed in the spring of 2010.
• Communications and Correspondence
  1. The Board discussed the upcoming Seminar to be held Thursday, Dec 10th, 2009 in Peoria, Il. This is being hosted by Heyl Royster Voelker & Allen Attorneys. A list of those interested in attending will be forwarded to their office.
• Road Business
  1. The Board discussed the ongoing dispute concerning the Carri-Scharf/Cilco Lane issue.
  2. They also discussed the current supply and cost of road salt for the present season.
  3. The Road Commissioner gave the Board an update on the Tuscarora Road bridge erosion and the corrective measures being done.
  4. The Road Commissioner also presented an update on the requested striping on 2 locations to access Route 24 in Mapleton.
• Trustees Business
  1. The persons attending the TOI Educational Conference held in Springfield, Il. Nov. 8-10, 2009 presented information which theyh had received.
• Old/Unfinished Business
  1. The Supervisor shared information he received from a meeting hosted by Ancil Glink in Bloomington on Oct. 30, 2009.
  2. The Board voted to adopt the tax levys for the tax year of 2009. These will be filed with the County Clerk.
  3. The Board discussed the upcoming Annual December Dinner by The Peoria County Township Officials Association.
• New Business
  1. The Board approved gift certificates for township employees as a Holiday remembrance.
  2. The Board reviewed the services received from the Rural Peoria County Council on Aging.
  3. The Board approved a request for a donation from the Hollis Cemetery Restoration Association.
  4. The Board approved the advertising expense to locate a qualified Tax Assessor for Hollis Township.
