• Communication & Correspondence
    1. The Board was informed that a check in the amount of $3127.33 had been received for the crop harvested from the property owned by the township.
  • Town Business
    1. The Supervisor presented a copy of a letter sent to Senator Dave Koehler asking for assistance for the relocation of a service pole on Tuscarora Road.
  • Clerk Business
    1. The Board was informed that the 2009 tax levies were filed with the Peoria County Clerk's office.
  • Road Business
    1. The Road Commissioner informed the Board that a solution concerning the Carri-Scharff dispute has not been finalized.
    2. The Road Commissioner informed the Board about the work which has been done on a mud slide on Reed City Road. It was noted more work will be scheduled for the Spring of 2010.
    3. The Road Commissioner informed the Board of the condition of the snow removal equipment and also of the current price of salt for the roadways.
    4. The Road Commissioner also informed the Board that he is in the process of hiring a new part-time employee.
  • Trustees
    1. The Board was updated on the replacement process of a new tax assessor for the township.
  • Old/Unfinished Business
    1. The Board received comments concerning the December 10th 2009 Seminar held by the Heyle Royster Law Firm.
    2. Also comments were noted from those attending the Annual Holiday Dinner hosted by the Peoria County Township Officials Association.
  • New Business
    1. The Board approved the appointment of a Freedom of Information officer for Hollis Township as required by the State of Illinois.
    2. The Board sdiscussed the investment funds in both the Township and Road District Accounts. These are presently with Illinois Funds Money Market. The Board approved the transfer of said funds to the Better Banks of Bartonville.
