• Town Business
    1. The Supervisor informed the Board that the Pork Processing project being considered by Pekin, Il. has been turned down. More information to follow.
  • Road Business
    1. The Road Commissioner informed the Board that the mowing has been completed for the season, the Durapatcher has been cleaned and prepared for winter, and the road crew is preparing equipment for winter use. He updated the Board on the procurement of road supplies for winter.
    2. He gave a brief report on the TOI educational Conference in Springfield, Il. on Nov. 7-9 which included the possible problems with insurance coverage for accidents.
  • Trustees
    1. Trustee Fengel notified the Board that newly elected State Representative Mike Unes has been invited to attend a future board meeting. He stated he would do so.
    2. Those who attended that TOI Educational Conference in Springfield, Il. on Nov 7-9, 2010 gave reports which included workmens compensation issues, documentation of road district activities and or problems, the possible establishment of policy manuals, FOIA issues, Prevailing Wage issues, the illegal meth lab issues, and the use of the town hall for possible revenue sources.
  • New Business
    1. The Board approved the puchase of gift certificates for Holiday remembrance for Township employees.
    2. The Board approved the partial payment for those interested in attending the PCTOA annual December Dinner Meeting and also the purchase of two door prizes for this event.
    3. The Board approved the Township Tax Levy for the tax year 2010 collected in 2011 also the need for a Truth in Taxation Hearing for the Road District and the tax levy for the Road District for the tax year 2010 collected in 2011.
