• Communications and Correspondence
  1. Trustee Gerdes gave a brief report on the Peoria County Township Officials meeting held Wed. August 29th 2007. Among the items covered were the Christmas Banquet to be held Dec. 9th, 2007 at Kickapoo Creek Winery and the upcoming meetings. The next two will be held at the Richwoods Township Hall.
• Road Business
  1. The Road Commissioner gave a report on the injury to one of the road district employees.
  2. Also discussed was the current situation with Carri-Scharf Trucking.
  3. The Road Commissioner also reported that the new 2008 International truck has been received.
  4. He also stated that the seal-coating of the township roads has been completed with the exception of Gerdes Road.
  5. He also stated that it appears that the Ethanol Plant Project has been dropped at this time.
• Trustees Comments
  1. Trustee Fengel stated that an arrest has been made by the Sheriffs Dept. for illegal dumping on the Pekin Bottoms Road.
