• Building, Grounds, Equipment
  1. The final invoice from Darcy Ray has been received for work done around the town hall for the year of 2007.
  2. Items also discussed were the minor furnace repair needed at the town hall, the faulty light on the maintanance shed, and gutter guards for the town hall building.
• Communications and Correspondence
  1. Discussed were the upcoming hearings on the use of the old Caterpilla Tractor building and grounds and the re-zoning of 206 acres for the construction of an ethanol-biofuels plant.
  2. Information was received regarding the Winter 2008 Civic Leadership program.
  3. Information was received on the Public Workshop Schedule Change from the Peoria County Dept. of Planning and Zoning.
  4. And received was a request from the Pekin & Lamarsh Drainage & Levee District for permission to use the town hall for their meetings. This was approved.
• Town Business
  1. Information was received on the upcoming 2010 Census.
  2. Reports were received from those members who had attended the TOI Annual Educational Conference held in Springfield, Il. on November 11-13, 2007.
• Road Business
  1. Updated information was presented by the Road Commissioner on issues regarding Carrie-Scharf Co. and Cilco Lane.
• Unfinished Business:
  1. Both the Township Tax Levy and Road District Tax Levy were adopted.
• New Business
  1. The annual donation to the Rural Peoria County Council on Aging was approved.
  2. The Board alsoapproved the payment for those who will be attending the annual P.C.T.O.A. Christmas Dinner to be held December 9th, 2007.
  3. Also approved was the purchase of Holiday Remembrance gift certificates for the township employees.
