  1. Mr. James Bailey brought to the attention of the board the passing of a former Hollis Township Official Mr. Lyle Moushon.
• Communications and Correspondence
  1. The Board discussed briefly the upcoming T.O.I. topics day to be held in Springfield, Il. on Wed. April 2nd, 2008.
• Town Business
  1. The Supervisor presented an update on the 2010 Census and the amount of progress made to date.
• Clerk Business
  1. The Clerk presented information on the certification of pre-election qualifications for the office of the township assessor.
  2. Also presented was a request for a wage survey of Hollis Township Officials for T.O.I.
• Road Business
  1. The Road Commissioner updated the Board on the Carri-Scharf Trucking Company problem.
  2. The Road Commissioner also gave an update on Mr. McCabe and his injury.
  3. He then informed the Board on the amount of road salt used this season and the future availability of salt through Peoria County.
• Trustees
  1. Trustee Fengel provided information regarding all-terrain vehicles and off-highway motorcycles and the present laws for the use of the above vehicles.
• New Business
  1. The Board approved payment for the registration fee for those interested in attending the 26th Annual Topics Day in Springfield, Il. on Wed. April 2nd, 2008.
