MINUTES SPECIAL BUDGET HEARING MEETINGS

TUESDAY, JUNE 16th, 2020 @ 7:00 P.M and 7:15 P.M.

 

After the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag, the Supervisor called the meeting to order @ 7:00 P.M. at the Hollis Town Hall, 6430 West Wheeler Road, Mapleton, Illinois 61547.

 

Board Members Present for roll call:

 

Supervisor William J. Gerdes; Clerk Linda A. Phillips; and Trustees: Rhonda L. Hodges, and Russell L. Zeine. Trustee Rich D. Murray was excused. Trustee Maryann S. Morrison was absent.

 

The Supervisor announced a quorum was present

 

The Road Commissioner Dennis R. Beckman was not available for this meeting. Tax Assessor Alice B. Dailey attended this meeting.

 

There were no visitors.

Budget & Appropriation Ordinance No. 2020 ~ 02

FOR THE TOWNSHIP OF HOLLIS

Fiscal Year April 1, 2020 - March 31, 2021

 

There were two changes made to the Tentative Budget that was approved last month.

Listed changes: Page 2-3 GL534 & GL560

 

A MOTION to ADOPT ORDINANCE NO. 2020 ~ 02 /

Budget and Appropriation Ordinance FOR THE TOWNSHIP OF HOLLIS

for the fiscal year beginning April 1, 2020 and ending March 31, 2021.

 

Motion by Rhonda Hodges; second Russ Zeine. The motion passed with all ayes on a roll call vote.

The Motion to adjourn passed unanimously. Meeting adjourned at 7:02 P.M.

The Supervisor called the meeting to order at 7:15 P.M. Members and visitors present are the same as listed at 7:00 P.M. with the addition of Road Commissioner Dennis Beckman.

FOR THE SINGLE TOWNSHIP ROAD DISTRICT OF HOLLIS

Fiscal Year April 1, 2020 - March 31, 2021.

 

The following changes were made to the Tentative Road District Budget

approved May 19, 2020.

Page 32-4 GL518, GL519, GL539, GL541, GL545, GL549, and GL562

Page 32-5 GL501, GL521, GL539, and GL599

 

A MOTION to ADOPT ORDINANCE NO. 2020 ~ 03

Budget and Appropriation Ordinance

FOR THE SINGLE TOWNSHIP ROAD DISTRICT OF HOLLIS TOWNSHIP

for the fiscal year beginning April 1, 2020 and ending March 31, 2021.

Motion by Russ Zeine; second Rhonda Hodges. The motion passed with all ayes on a roll call vote.

 

NOTE: WITHIN 30 DAYS OF ADOPTION, THE TOWN & ROAD BUDGETS MUST BE FILED WITH THE PEORIA COUNTY CLERK

The Motion to adjourn passed unanimously. Meeting adjourned at 7:26 P.M.
