• Communications and Correspondence
  1. The Board was informed that the membership certificate has been received from T.O.I. for the fiscal year ending August 31, 2009
  2. The Board also was informed that the annual audit has been completed
• Town Business
  1. It was noted that an additional reimbursement has been received from IEMA for administrative fees for the Dec. 1, 08 ice and snow damage.
• Road Business
  1. The Board discussed various conditions of settlement concerning the Carrie-Scharf dispute.
  2. The Board was informed of changes in the roadside mowing pattern to gain a savings in fuel costs and also to provide additional wildlife cover.
  3. The Board disucssed the upcoming seminar on the required updating of posted road signs.
• Trustees
  1. Information was presented for gaining access to traffic violation fines occuring within Hollis Township.
  2. The Board was informed that Peoria County States Attorney candidate Darin LaHood may attend the Sept. 25th 2008 meeting.
• New Business
  1. The Board approved the payment for registration fees for those interested in attending the T.O.I. 101st Annual Educational Conference to be held Nov. 9-11 2008 in Springfield Illinois.
