- The Board was informed that the membership certificate has been received from T.O.I. for the fiscal year ending August 31, 2009
- The Board also was informed that the annual audit has been completed
- Town Business
- It was noted that an additional reimbursement has been received from IEMA for administrative fees for the Dec. 1, 08 ice and snow damage.
- Road Business
- The Board discussed various conditions of settlement concerning the Carrie-Scharf dispute.
- The Board was informed of changes in the roadside mowing pattern to gain a savings in fuel costs and also to provide additional wildlife cover.
- The Board disucssed the upcoming seminar on the required updating of posted road signs.
- Trustees
- Information was presented for gaining access to traffic violation fines occuring within Hollis Township.
- The Board was informed that Peoria County States Attorney candidate Darin LaHood may attend the Sept. 25th 2008 meeting.
- New Business
- The Board approved the payment for registration fees for those interested in attending the T.O.I. 101st Annual Educational Conference to be held Nov. 9-11 2008 in Springfield Illinois.
