VISITORS ADDRESSING THE BOARD: None
TOWN BUILDING, GROUNDS & EQUIPMENT: Weeds have been sprayed.
COMMUNICATIONS & Correspondence: November 13th – 15th will be the conference and we will need to know if anyone else wants to attend by October.

TOWN BUSINESS ~ Supervisor: Russ and Bill went to class last week. Another class coming up in Springfield for GA and R. Zeine is hoping to attend.
CLERK BUSINESS: R. Hodges asked everyone to tag things that should not be included in the Disposal of Records.
ROAD BUSINESS ~ Highway Commissioner: D. Beckman stated concrete gutters are being poured on Tuscarora Road. Miller Construction out of Mackinaw is completing this work.
R. Zeine stated during the class he attended,Torima Insurance stated UTVs and ATVs should not be approved on the roads due to liability issues.
R. Zeine asked if the traffic counters are from the State. D. Beckman spoke to the County and they were set up by the State but not for certain what they were used for since they were only there for 1 day.
D. Beckman stated the road was solid until seal coating was done so they used a steal roller to help with this issue. The wrong primer was used so next year he may adjust the road a little if needed.
D. Beckman discussed creating an ordinance about no parking overnight in cul-de-sacs. This is causing issues for garbage trucks and tearing up the roads.
Peoria County Highway Department Motor Fuel Tax Report : No Report
TRUSTEES/ Information / Business: W. Gerdes did arrive late at meeting. M. Super stated he will not be able to attend next month’s meeting.
S. Breedlove asked about the stop sign on West First Street and Mapleton Road in Mapleton and who needs to cut back the tree since it is covering the stop sign. This should be handled by the Village of Mapleton.
R. Murray asked about house numbers on homes since the fire district is being taken over. R. Zeine stated signs could be put up but also can be purchased for about $ 12.00, but not required since they use GPS. R. Murray stated he could put up a sign for his property.
S. Breedlove asked if anyone knows about the shooting that hit a house because this is the bus stop for the children, and she is concerned about this. No one had definite information about this situation but police were involved.
TAX ASSESSOR’S OFFICE / Information / Business: A. Dailey stated changes that were made on properties have been published. Now they are getting ready for revaluations.
