• Communications & Correspondence
  1. Information was received from the Peoria County Township Officials Association announcing the 2008 annual Christmas meeting to be held at the Lariat Steakhouse on Sat. December 6th, 2008
• Town Business
  1. The Board discussed letters received from both the Tuscarora Fire Dept. and the First Student Bus Co. concerning needed improvements on Tuscarora Road.
• Road Business
  1. Nothing new to report on the Carrie-Scharff dispute.
  2. The Road Crew has finished the fall mowing and are preparing the equipment for winter use.
• Trustees Business
  1. The Board briefly discussed employee gift certificates for Christmas. This will be followed up at the November 2008 meeting.
• Old Unfinished Business
  1. The Board discussed the Community meeting held Wed. Oct. first 2008, noting the turnout and the many comments made to address the prowling and thefts in some areas of Hollis Township.
  2. Resolution #01-2008 was discussed for consideration for the setting Hollis Township Officials compensation for the upcoming four year term beginning May 2009 through April 2013. Changes were made and passed.
  3. The Tax levies were discussed and passed.
  4. A motion was approved for a $1000.00 donation to the Rural Peoria County Council on Aging.
