VISITORS ADDRESSING THE BOARD: No visitors.
TOWN BUILDING, GROUNDS & EQUIPMENT: Russ stated they have started the generator project.
COMMUNICATIONS & Correspondence:

TOWN BUSINESS ~ Supervisor: Russ stated he attended the TOI conference and learned a few new things. He has spoken to a few people about the office position, and he has a follow up with one more person.
CLERK BUSINESS: Rhonda stated she received mail, but it was fraudulent, so she disposed of it.
ROAD BUSINESS ~ Highway Commissioner: Denny stated he attended the TOI conference and said the sessions were good but normally he was able to choose which session he attended but was not able to do that this year. Denny plans to send a letter concerning this and Russ stated he will sign the letter also as Supervisor. Denny explained there is a new law that states for every 40 hours worked, employees will receive 1 hour of paid time off. He said they are doing boom mowing on the township farm field and South Lafayette hill. Denny said the sealing on bridges is complete. He did call about the new backhoe but there is a price increase after November 1st, and he told the company the Township would not be purchasing with this increase. The company stated they would like to see what they could do about this, but Denny has not heard back from them.
TRUSTEES: Stacie stated she has not heard from Peoria County concerning the CO2 pipeline nor has she heard from Joyce about what is happening. Stacie asked Russ if he found any information about the sign for Logan Smallwood. He stated he will make some calls concerning this.
TAX ASSESSOR’S OFFICE / Information / Business: Alice stated they are making a final run for the year and closing things out. She asked if the trustees and supervisor have any opinions concerning her watching the classes from the TOI conference online because she can earn credits for these. Russ stated some things were informative, but not sure it would assist in her position.
OLD UNFINISHED BUSINESS: None
NEW BUSINESS: Elect Salaries & Truth in Taxation for Levy
Salaries will be discussed in 2024. The tax levy was available for review.
R. Zeine made a Motion to accept the Road District Levy for $ 188,234.00. W. Gerdes seconded.
