VISITORS ADDRESSING THE BOARD:
TOWN BUILDING, GROUNDS & EQUIPMENT: Generator is completed. Landscape work is next on the list. Corner where pipes come in, very careful no digging. Old pole and tore up yard. Today they pulled the old pole, so no longer.
COMMUNICATIONS & Correspondence: Perspective magazines should be delivered to individuals’ homes instead of the office.

ROAD BUSINESS ~ Highway Commissioner: TORIMA reviewed building for possible OHSA issues due to the first finding is a warning, but the second finding is a fine. The fuel tank is technically too close to the building, so this will be transferred to the other side of the parking lot. Also, a fireproof cabinet is needed for flammable products. Denny state they are filling potholes right now and received the new backhoe and the instructor will be in to show everyone how to use it.
Peoria County Highway Department Motor Fuel Tax Report:
TRUSTEES/ Information / Business: Stacie discussed that Joyce Harrant is planning 2 meetings, one at Rankin School February 29th and another at Village of Mapleton March 5th.
TAX ASSESSOR’S OFFICE / Information / Business: Alice asked if everyone that is 65 get their tax freeze notices in the mail. This is for those making $ 65,000 or less. She stated everyone struggling with this new form. Alice state there is a motorhome on the side of Reed City Road that looks like someone is living in it. The County has been out there to check on it. Russ asked if Alice had any information on the hearing for the evaluation for the Local 649. Alice does not have information currently.
OLD UNFINISHED BUSINESS:
NEW BUSINESS: Discuss and act on monies allocated for Hollis Park District and Village of Mapleton senior luncheons. $1500 budget for seniors. Tabled to do research on other communities.
