• Communications & Correspondence
  1. It was announced that a Seminar would be available to those interested in attending on Mon. Feb. 9th, 2009 from Nine to Ten A.M. at the West Peoria City/Town Hall in West Peoria. This is concerning Electronic communications and the 'Open Meetings Act'. This is sponsored by Heyl Royster Voelker & Allen Attorneys. Some members expressed an interest in attending.
  2. The Board also addressed the letter from TOI concerning economic stimulus legislation. This will be discussed again at a future meeting.
• Clerk
  1. The Clerk stated that all the paper work needed to date has been filed and or mailed for the upcoming April 7th Election.
• Road Business
  1. The Road Commissioner stated that the Road Crew has experienced some equipment breakdowns and also that the salt and cinder supply has been difficult to obtain.
• Trustees
  1. The Board discussed the operation of the LaMarsh Drainage District, their meeting schedules and their purpose of operation.
• Old/Unfinished Business
  1. The Board reviewed the letter which the Supervisor had sent to Mr. Tom O'Neil the Peoria County Board Representative for Hollis Township concerning the dangerous section of road near the top of Tuscarora Hill. This problem will be followed to see if a solution can be resolved.
