VISITORS ADDRESSING THE BOARD: Tommy Thompson
He had a complaint about the flow of water coming down the hill and flooding the houses on Hickory Street. Dennis explained that the road was never dedicated to the township, and he needed to talk to Peoria County.

COMMUNICATIONS & Correspondence:
Russ explained that anyone who wants to go to any of the TOI Workshops can go. There will be one on July 18th in Bloomington that is half a day with lunch provided.

Treasurer Michael Frerichs will be at the Illinois State Fair in Springfield on Saturday, August 16th. You need tickets and pay $5 per vehicle to park. You can get tickets online. Maurice went the year before. Let Russ know if you want tickets. Bill Gerdes has requested two tickets.
.
TOWN BUSINESS ~ Supervisor:
Russ thanked Rhonda and Denny for keeping the mailbox cleared while he was on vacation.

CLERK BUSINESS:

ROAD BUSINESS ~ Highway Commissioner:
Denny said he has had to do a lot of repairs to vehicles. This meant they were putting rock down with a one-ton truck because all the other trucks were down. Porter Brothers graded and it looked good then the bumps showed up the next day and Cal graded it again. Then it rained so hard they had to put more rocks down to absorb the water. Hopefully next week we’ll begin sealcoating Stranz, Tuscarora Hill and Gerdes Rd.
When they did the subdivision years ago, they didn’t dedicate Hickory to the township. The state put in asphalt right by Tommy’s house. He does have a problem, as water is coming down the hill. Denny will call the farmer who may have diverted the water.

TRUSTEES/ Information / Business:
Dwayne commented on the discussion on how bad the turn on Lafayette is and stated that it is really bad. Denny said it may come down to a lawsuit with Ameren. They have requested all the FOIA information. Rhonda Robbins asked if there was going to be a guard rail for the culvert on Lafayette. Denny said they already have the material for it.

TAX ASSESSOR’S OFFICE / Information / Business:
Nothing.

OLD UNFINISHED BUSINESS:
None

NEW BUSINESS:
None

MOTION to adjourn made by Rich Murray; seconded by Dwayne Allen.

The motion passed unanimously.

The Meeting adjourned at 7:48 pm .
