• Communications & Correspondence
  1. The workshop held Thursday March 5, 2009 was discussed. This is concerning "Balancing a Public Budget" and will be hosted by Peoria County and will be held at the ICC North Campus.
  2. The Board reviewed a request by the Peoria County Clerks Office for individuals to help with the Consolidated Election to be held April 7th, 2009.
• Clerk
  1. The Clerk presented a sample ballot for the Consolidated Election to be held April 7th, 2009 for the Boards review.
• Road Business
  1. The Road Commissioner stated that some of the Township roads are in need of attention following this winter's weather and will be addressed as needed.
  2. He also stated that the Carrie-Scharf dispute is still ongoing and nothing is final yet.
• Old/Unfinished Business
  1. The Board briefly discussed the ongoing plans for the old Caterpillar Foundry.
  2. Those who had attended the Heyle, Royster seminar held February 9th 2009, gave a report on "The Open Meetings Act & Electronic Communications" program.
• New Business
  1. The Board approved the proposal for Darcy Ray for yard care around the town hall.
  2. The Board briefly discussed the 27th annual Topics Day to be held in Springfield, Il. on Tuesday April 21, 2009.
  3. The Schedule for the meetings for Hollis Township for the Fiscal year beginning April 1, 2009 to March 31, 2010 was approved.
