• Communications & Correspondence
  1. The Peoria County planning and Zoning Board of Appeals Calendar was presented for review.
  2. The Village of Mapleton Board meeting to be held Feb. 13th, 2007 was discussed. This is concerning the Port Authority development in Mapleton.
• Road Business
  1. The Road Commissioner gave a brief update on the new tandem truck being purchased.
  2. The Road Commissioner stated he has had a discussion with Mr. Robert Tapping concerning the township's history.
  3. He also stated that he has met with Pat Meyer on the engineering and layout of improvements of McCumber and Gerdes roads.
• Trustees
  1. It was noted that some members are contacting residents for the use of pictures and or historic items for township use on publications.
  2. Appreciation was expressed for the handling of the Dec. 2006 snowstorm.
• New Business
  1. Motions were passed to approve payment for the General Assistance Training Seminar and for the registration for the 25th Annual Topics Day to be held March 6th, 2007. The General Assistance Seminar will be held March 1st, 2007.
