- Town Building, Grounds, and Equipment
- The Board discussed a potential problem with the main water shut-off for the town building. This will be considered for a future repair or replacement.
- Town Business
- The Supervisor informed the Board of a tentative visit at the March 31, 2011 meeting by Peoria County Board official Mr. Brad Harding.
- Clerk Business
- The Hollis Township Clerk informed the Board of his tentative resignation from the Board due to personal obligations. The tentative date is May 31, 2011.
- Road Business
- The Road Commissioner informed the Board that the necessary forms have been turned in to Vicki Turner the Director of Emergency Management Agency- Peoria County concerning the Feb. 2011 blizzard.
- The Road Commissioner stated there is nothing to report at this time concerning the Carrie-Scharf cul-de-sac. at Cilco Lane.
- The Board discussed the 'wash-board' conditions of Tuscarora Hill near the LaMarsh bridge. Corrective measures are planned for 2011.
- Trustees
- Trustee Fengel explained his participation in an advisory committee concerning the combining of services between the City of Peoria and Peoria County. More information to follow.
- Tax Assessor
- The Tax Assessor updated the Board on the ongoing property corrections.
- New Business
- The Board approved the payment of those interested in attending the April 6th, 2011 Annual Topics Day in Springfield, Il., the TOI Education program Thursday April 14th, 2011 in Peoria, Il., and also the Schedule of the Hollis Township meetings for Fiscal year April 1, 2011 through March 31, 2011.
