• Building, Grounds, Equipment
  1. The Board discussed the present arrangement for the mowing and trimming around the town hall and noted additional work is needed.
• Communications and Correspondence
  1. The Board reviewed a letter from The University of Illinois concerning summer community input. No action needed.
  2. The Supervisor also presented an update on the proposed ethanol plant. No action needed.
• Road Business
  1. The Road Commissioner stated that the road crew is still having difficulty keeping up with mowing roadsides due to weather.
  2. He also stated that the seal-coating of certain roads is still waiting to be done.
  3. He also stated that the existing problems in the Cilco Lane Area are still being addressed
  4. He informed the Board that the new International truck has arrived at Koenig Body and Equipment
  5. Also a new coating for the shed roof is being considered
  6. He has also drafted a letter of support for Hollis Grade School for sidewalks.
• Trustees
  1. It was noted that the water line at Stranz Road has been seeded and strawed
• New Business
  1. Both Prevailing Wage rates for the Township and Road District were voted on and passed.
